This application aids in hardening the plant for dormancy as well as preparing it for spring growth.
We also have one more tree and shrub spray, which is an anti-desiccant. Basically, this spray acts like a suntan lotion for the plant in certain ways. It coats leaves and needles and protects them from windburn and/or dehydration.
This is also the time of the year where we do our deep root feeding. Much like the winterizer for turf care, the deep root feeding will nourish the plants.
The nutrients that are stored by the plant will be used for spring growth.
The last Deer control will be applied in the next month, as well. This application has a high concentration of product to deter deer activity throughout the winter.
Planning and scheduling for next season begins early. Starting in February, we will begin visiting properties and performing estimates.
