Upcoming programs at the Township Library of Lower Southampton

Fall is here and the Feasterville Library has new and some perennial favorite programs for you to enjoy this October.

‘Virtual Chair Yoga’ Tuesdays on October 12th, 19th and 26th at noon. Grab you chair and get into shape! Chair Yoga is back. Join Elda for an hour-long workout you will be sure to love.

‘Minecraft Makers’ Thursdays on October 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. Grades 1 and up at 4:30pm. Grades 5-12 at 6:30pm.

Sign up for the library’s Minecraft Realms server and join us each week to hang out with friends and build.

Join our library Discord server to voice chat with friends as you play. Joining Discord is optional.
The library uses the Bedrock edition, which is compatible with Windows 10, mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

‘Whimsical Art Series: Fairy Drawing’ on Wednesday, October 6th at 6:30pm. Join art teacher, Anita Thompson as she shows us how to draw a fun fairy using pencil and shading techniques. 

Participants need to supply their own materials.

‘Escape the Mütter’ on Wednesday, October 13th at 6:30pm.

We sneak into the Mütter Museum at night only to find out that we’re trapped. We must find our way out by collecting clues and solving puzzles while learning about the diverse virtual and in-person programs The College of Physicians of Philadelphia has to offer.

‘Bristlebots’ on Wednesday, October 20th at 4:30pm. Sign up, pick up a kit, and join Ms. Brittany on Zoom to make a robot out of a toothbrush!

Kits will be available to pick up starting October 6th.

‘Ted Circle’ on Wednesday, October 20th at 6:30pm. Register to receive the link to this virtual program. 

Each month we watch a Ted Talk on a different topic and discuss it.

‘Skull Circuits’ on Wednesday October 27th at 4:30pm. Sign up, pick up a kit, and join Ms. Brittany on Zoom to make a light up paper craft skull for spooky season.

Kits will be available to pick up starting October 13th.

‘Barks and Books’ on Saturday, October 30th at 10:30am.

Lucy the dog will be back visiting us, and she wants you to come read a story to her! Lucy will be here 10:30 to 11:00am every other Saturday. Visit Lucy’s special reading spot on the benches right outside the front door!
