SPOTLIGHT: Tyler Park Center for the Arts

Tyler Park Center for the Arts bucolic tree-lined drive and peaceful sculpture garden are about to be transformed into a vibrant Fine Art and Craft Festival extraordinaire in October!

Over 130 artists and crafts people are busy in their studios creating works including wearable art, fine art, pottery, jewelry, fine wood working and functional art in every medium imaginable.

Coming out to meet extraordinary artists who are excited to share many years of experience through demonstrations, conversations and the opportunity to bring home gifts that go to the heart of the “buy local” movement is just one reason to save a day to visit on the weekend of October 16th and 17th.

Show preparations are underway with a list of talented new artists for 2021.

Pre-views of the works to be offered with lists of artists can be accessed at TylerParkArts.org and followed on FaceBook and Instagram.

The show features musical entertainment on the main stage both days elevating the event as a live concert venue complete with craft beer in the brand-new Warwick Farms beer garden.

Families and friends will be pleasantly surprised with showcases such as Capoeira Moro Verde /Greenhill Art Center demonstrations in the “Grove” section of the show on Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Leigh Robertson is an internationally recognized teacher and performer of the Afro-Brazilian marital art of Capoeira and one of the select few American women to achieve this rank. The art form infuses dance, music, gymnastics and martial arts.

Meet Leigh and other instructors and students while shopping, enjoying some delicious espresso drinks snacks and lunch in the food vendor areas, getting to know some miniature horses from Rosalyn’s Rescue and taking visiting the kids craft and face painting booths and maze.

Sculptor’s row is another exciting addition to the show with several sculptors from the Johnson Atelia at Grounds for Sculpture in Ewing participating with demonstrations and works for purchase.

The deadline for purchasing 50% off tickets to the show has been extended to October 10th, so head to TylerParkArts.org to get your pre-paid tickets. Kids are always free for this iconic Bucks County annual event.
