CHECK OUT THE NEW BUCKSBLOGSPOT. HELP FOR BUCKS COUNTY BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY – BUCKSBLOGSPOT

Spotlight: Pennsbury Manor

On Sunday, October 31st, Pennsbury Manor will be hosting our 12th annual Tricks and Treats at the Manor event.

We hope you will join us for this afternoon of free, family-friendly fun! In addition to trick-or-treating for candy and toys, families can interact with colonial trade demonstrators, sit on the jury of a witch trial, press apples for cider, and enjoy other Halloween-themed games and activities.

This year we will also be featuring a pumpkin painting station and an enchanted pumpkin show! Best of all, thanks to generous donations from our community partners, this event is entirely free to the public.

Pennsbury Manor is a reconstruction of William Penn’s country estate set on 43 picturesque acres along the Delaware River in Morrisville. It is the only historic site in the country devoted to studying the lives of William and Hannah Penn, their contributions to Pennsylvania, and their impact on American history.

Our mission is to provide quality educational programming to children in our community by bringing history to life through our colonial interpreters, interactive programs, and community events.

We hope you will join us for this fun event on Sunday October 31st, from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Registration is required, and tickets must be reserved ahead of time.

Please visit our website at PennsburyManor.org for more information.

Pennsbury Manor is administered by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission with the assistance of The Pennsbury Society, a non-profit support organization.

The Pennsbury Society is dedicated to preserving the historical significance of William Penn and this site, and to providing quality educational programming.

Consider becoming a member today and help support local school programs, as well as over 80 different cultural programs per year. Pennsbury Society members also receive special benefits including invitations to members-only events. For more information visit PennsburyManor.org.
