As the year winds down…
Now that fall is in the air, we hope you will take the time to get outside and enjoys God’s Masterpiece.
The leaves have started their yawn, it’s time to rest. The wooly worm is packing its bags. Now is the time to plan and work your yard and beds for next spring.
Bushes need to be trimmed, trees cut back, leaves raked, mulched, and put in your compost bed.
Make sure your front beds do not provide safe haven to prowlers to hide behind bushes. Pull all weeds you don’t want camping out for free. Apply a winterizing fertilizer to the lawn.
It’s a great time to power wash the house as well. Clean the gutters and put on gutter guards, protecting them from leaves and winter ice blockages.
After a few weekends, you can sit back and enjoy the season of Thanksgiving.
We are most grateful to have survived another year in this strange world. We yearn to get back to normal.
We have been blessed and will share again with our community by giving away 200 meals at Thanksgiving.
Watch for the details next month.
