Spotlight: Bucks County Chapter/Fox Chase Cancer Center

The Bucks County Chapter of Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Board of Associates has been helping fight cancer since 1983. With 38 years of varied fundraising events, to date the chapter’s volunteers have raised over $5 million dollars for various research projects at Fox Chase Cancer Center. And this year the chapter will host its 24th annual art show and sale, in memory of George Bramhall, with proceeds benefiting Small Cell Lung Cancer research. Small Cell Lung Cancer (also called “SCLC”) is the most lethal type of lung cancer. Read more about the Small Cell Lung Cancer Research project at Fox Chase Cancer Center at bccfccc.org/2021lung.

The virtual art show and sale takes place from October 1st through November 30th, 2021 (visit bccfccc.org/artshow for more art show information). Patrons can browse and purchase works from over 18 talented artists, from the comfort of their homes. Each artist generously contributes 35% of their art sales to small cell lung cancer research.  Raffle tickets may be purchased for a chance to win one of more than 18 original works of art donated by the participating artists. Patrons can apply their raffle tickets to specific original work(s) of art providing a high chance of winning their favorite! Raffle tickets are just $15 each or 3 for $40. In addition, a separate ‘golden raffle’ will offer George Bramhall’s ‘Last Cast – Big Bass’ original oil painting with raffle tickets at $100 each or 3 for $250. This art show can be a wonderful way to purchase gifts for the holidays while helping fight cancer.

Visit bccfccc.org where you will also find additional information about participation opportunities to support research at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
