Celeste Oliver, owner of Bella Casa Photography, now offers a Personal Scanning Service.
She will scan, adjust lighting, and color-correct your photos, and then save them on a USB drive for you to put onto your computer for you to back up there, or into the Cloud.
“When I started Bella Casa Photography in 2018, I concentrated mainly on real estate. But now, that market has slowed down from last year and I started this sideline after doing my own family photos. I know I would be heartbroken if anything happened to them, but having them backed up into the Cloud gives me peace of mind.”
“I also scanned things such as letters from my parents to each other, written during the early years of WWII when Dad was stationed overseas and the newlyweds were missing each other. When the Army sent him to Japan in 1953, I scanned the paperwork my mother needed to live with him on base with my older brothers. These papers fascinated me when I first found them. Especially since I was almost born there!”
“I was a senior art major in school, and eventually ran a million dollar photo department when I lived in Flemington. Subsequent jobs used my artistic eye and skills, even though it wasn’t part of my job description. I’ve just always enjoyed it, and as they say, if you do what you enjoy, it’s not a job, it’s a passion.”
