Line the trails with jack-o-lanterns for the Bucks County Audubon Society’s Haunted Trails event by carving a pumpkin at their Pumpkin Carving event on Wednesday, October 13th beginning at 4:00pm at their headquarters at 2877 Creamery Road in New Hope!
They will provide pizza, refreshments, and carving utensils. All you need is yourself, some creativity and a pumpkin! Pumpkins will then go out on the trails.
Due to Covid concerns, they will be setting up pumpkin carving sessions. Sessions will be from 4:00-5:30pm, 5:30-7:00pm and 7:00-8:30pm. Please select a session time when you register for this free event. They will also be requiring masks while inside the Education/Visitor Center.
Register at www.BCAS.org.
There is no cost to participants (other than a pumpkin) for this program.
Then join them for another fall Haunted Trails event on Saturday, October 16th beginning at 6:00pm! This fun and family-friendly event is perfect for families with kids ages 4-14 (but definitely can be enjoyed by all). This year, due to Covid concerns, there will be two sessions. The first session will last from 6:00pm until 7:00pm. The second session will run from 7:00pm until 8:00pm. Groups will go out onto the trails roughly every 30 minutes, so while you wait for the next group to go out, enjoy storytelling around the campfire, seasonal refreshments and more!
Please note that they are asking that all participants wear face masks for this event to control the spread of Covid.
Admission is $5/person (BCAS Member), $10/person (Non-member) or $20/family (BCAS Member), and $30/family (Non-member).
