Join Parks & Rec in October for a howlin’ time with Halloween events at the Northampton Municipal Park.
The 45th Halloween Happening will take place on Saturday, October 30th. The free event is back with entertainment, costume parade with trophies, games, and more. Pre-registration is requested. Bring a chair or blanket for seating. And there’s more!
You can display your creativity for the Scarecrow Row Contest which will be viewed at the park in the week leading up to Halloween. People can see your scarecrows and cast votes for favorites. Prizes will be awarded for top votes.
On October 30th, there will be a decorated Trunk/Vehicle Contest along with the Halloween parade. Prizes and awards for the costume parade will be determined by a panel of judges with Scarecrow and Trunk contests included in a People’s Vote.
The Northampton Lion’s Club will be selling food and 50/50’s.
