Dear Neighbors – We are honored to have the opportunity to run for the important position of Supervisor of Northampton Township, and to bring our experiences and community spirit to serve our neighbors. Our motivation and goal is to continue to serve the community via responsible and collaborative leadership.
As long-time residents, we have raised our families in Northampton Township and have always strived to give back to our community. We have served as coaches and in other capacities in support of local youth sports organizations. We have served – and continue to serve – in professional groups and on township committees whose primary focus is to serve the community.
As lifelong educators, we each have served as teachers and education leaders in our respective school districts for over twenty-eight years. From the classroom, to the conference room, to the community forum, we have been actively involved in all aspects of the school and professional community and have demonstrated the listening, learning, and leadership skills required to successfully serve the needs of students, colleagues, administrators, parents, and business/community leaders.
Good governance is the purpose and by-product of community-minded leadership – leadership which embraces and embodies responsibility and accountability. A welcoming community – like ours – is achieved and maintained by an involved and caring citizenry. As supervisors, it will be our goal to be the community-minded leaders that you and the township deserve; collaborating with all members of our welcoming community to implement and support responsible practices that build and enhance the local economy, infrastructure, and community access.
We will be traveling around Northampton township in the coming days, meeting with residents like you and listening to your insights and concerns.
