Children’s hat, gloves, and scarf collection

The Jesse W. Soby American legion Auxiliary, in conjunction with Bucks County family Services, will hold a children’s hat, gloves, and scarf collection (sizes newborn to age 18) during Langhorne Harvest Day on Saturday, October 30th.

You can drop off your donation at the Post home at 115 W. Richardson Avenue in Langhorne, or at the Auxiliary’s table in town on Harvest Day.

In conjunction with this effort, Family Services is holding a Christmas Project collection of new Stocking Stuffer items for ages newborn through teen, with a deadline date of December 5th.

Requested items include:

  • Baby/Toddlers – Soft toys, teething toys, tub toys, body wash, shampoo;
  • Younger children – Coloring books, crayons, markers, easy crafts, glow sticks, sticker books, bubbles, small games, puzzles;
  • Young girls – headbands, play kitchen items, small stuffed animals;
  • Young boys – Matchbox cars, small play sets, Frisbee or other small outside toys;
  • Teens – Deodorant, ear buds, grooming kit, hair care products, body wash, card games, flashlights, blank journal;
  • Girls – Nail polish items and decorations, lip gloss, perfume, body lotion/creams.
