The Alliance Française Doylestown & Bucks County will kick-off it 32nd year with a “table ronde” meeting on September 8th. Meetings are currently scheduled to be held in person at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Doylestown.
A reception for prospective and current members will be held on Sunday, September 19th, from 3:00-5:00pm at the historic Moland House in Hartsville.
Prospective members will have the opportunity to meet the Alliance board members and learn more about the organization. Attendees will be treated to an historical tour of the Moland House and its gardens by Murrie Gayman, sculptor of the Lafayette stature and designer of the colonial style garden in which it stands.

The Alliance Française de Doylestown is a not-for-profit organization which has been serving the Bucks County community for 32 years.
Its mission is to promote and enhance knowledge and appreciation of French language and culture and to encourage interaction among French people, speakers of French, and all those with an interest in the French way of life.
The Alliance meets twice monthly for a 90-minute “table ronde” French conversation session.
Conversation topics are announced in advance so that members may prepare their comments.
The conversation topics are enhanced with a brief and relevant grammar revision.
The Alliance welcomes all levels of French speakers in a friendly, fun and supportive environment.

In addition to the regular meetings, the Alliance offers a variety of special presentations of interest to francophiles, screenings of French films and social gatherings for its members and occasionally, for the community at large.
The Alliance Française Doylestown & Bucks County is a chapter of the Fédération des Alliances Françaises, the largest network of French language and cultural centers in the world.
