Restaurant with a Mission
Move over boys, there’s a new boss in town. Nicole Rabena, owner of the hot concept La La Lobster, is empowering a team of young women to take life by the reins and follow their dreams of business ownership.
Recently nominated Best of Bucks Seafood restaurant in Yardley Borough, La La Lobster is opening the larger back building at 35 South Main St Yardley location this month. The menu will feature the best compliment to lobster…steak!
Filet sandwiches, surf-and-turf sandwiches, crab cakes, La La Lobster fries, Buffalo shrimp, with salads and many other new menu options.
What’s better than her food? Her contributions to the community. They are piling up with opportunities for young culinary students, special-needs students and young female entrepreneurs.
“I’m happiest around people whether it is feeding them or teaching them.” Nicole is doing both, working with the Woods School and BCTHS Culinary Arts, as well as her own daughter Isabella, who is in the Pennsbury HS Life Skills program.
Staff and frequent customers have been calling the back building Big Blue, so we’re sticking with that big-blue-sea nickname. Big Blue BYOB is throwing distance from the Fine Wine and Spirits store.
With many ladies showing up with bottles of wine to enjoy a fun lunch with their friends, we are promoting the BYOB side of our seafood restaurant with the new menu. Big Blue BYOB has indoor and outdoor seating. Just look for the Cape Cod colors and bright white stone beach back patio. We promise it is worth the trip for the food and to support a local woman’s small business that’s doing wonders for our next generation!
La La Lobster also has locations in Cape May NJ, Princeton NJ with two more locations in the works.
