Spotlight: Elite Dance Academy

Elite Dance Academy is entering their 44th season in September!

EDA is a family owned and operated small business offering quality dance education to children ages 16 months to 18 years.

EDA has built a solid reputation teaching children of all ages how to benefit from the exhilaration, relaxation, and discipline that dance provides.

EDA offers a wide variety of recreational classes including Mommy & Me, Tiny Two’s, Combination classes for Tots ages 3-6, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop.

Dancers follow a curriculum to ensure yearly progress and development and perform onstage at our annual recital in June.

A competitive track is available for dancers looking for a more rigorous curriculum and onstage competitive experiences.

Our prestigious competitive team has won a variety of regional and national top placements and choreography awards.

This year we are proud to announce the start of our new tot program, Brain Dance, which incorporates creative learning strategies to address a variety of learners (visual, tactile, auditory).

Our early development director is certified in this program and has crafted a special curriculum to combine dance, movement, and various learning strategies.

We are excited to provide this new program to our youngest dancers in our community.

COVID didn’t stop us! We provided online instruction in 2020, implemented policies and safety procedures in 2021 to allow kids to continue to dance, and ended our 2021 season with a fabulous indoor recital indoors at the Patriots Theater in Trenton.

EDA is currently enrolling students for the 2021-22 season which begins in September.
