Golden, a loving and exuberant 6-year-old boxer and American bully mix, has renewed his love for life and restored hope in his foster home in Bensalem.
He’s one shining example of what can happen when a pup is gifted a second chance.
Golden spent the first years of his life chained in a junkyard, but this tough start hasn’t made him any less fun-loving or excited to enjoy life on (his very first!) grass, rolling in the sun, taking rides in the car and even enjoying ice cream.
His foster parent has gotten Golden used to walking on a leash and takes him out on regular walks, keeping him active and joyful. He’s also continued with his training.
Golden is seeking a fur-ever home to call his own, somewhere he can feel secure and stay for the rest of his high-spirited days. He immediately loves everyone he meets, especially females.
Golden knows basic commands (‘sit, stay, lie down’) and will flourish with someone who will continue his training and take him out walking. He is low maintenance and loves to lounge around with his family. He doesn’t need a crate and is house-trained.
Golden would be best suited in a home of his own without other pets, and is best with someone who isn’t a new dog-owner.
Will you be his new fur-ever friend and adopt him into your family?
