The Penndel Service Center is widely known by the local community, keeping customers on the road for nearly 40 years, and is now Bryan’s Penndel Service Center.
At the very beginning of this year, the small business underwent a big transition when Bryan and Colleen Thoday became the newest owners.
“We have persevered,” says Colleen. “We took the chance and opened our business during the pandemic, back in January. Our faith helped us to stay strong and keep going.”
While it was hectic to prepare to open, Colleen and Bryan couldn’t be happier as the new owners.
For Bryan, the transition to owning this business is a long time coming. He worked for the previous owner for two years before being given the opportunity to open his own auto repair shop and has kept a loyal customer base following him for many years.
Colleen left the medical field after working administratively for nearly 13 years in order to help Bryan in this endeavor. They have always wanted to work together and now finally have the opportunity.
“The transition was strange at first, but now I tell people that the patients are the cars,” she says, laughing.
The Thodays plan on owning and personally running the business for a long time, so give them a warm welcome.
They offer pick-up and drop-off service to all customers.
Their auto service center is an integral part of the Langhorne, Hulmeville and Penndel community and is here to stay.
