CHECK OUT THE NEW BUCKSBLOGSPOT. HELP FOR BUCKS COUNTY BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY – BUCKSBLOGSPOT

A new Goodwill Store & so much more

Bucks County residents now have a new destination to drop off gently-used items and shop for affordable merchandise.

Goodwill Keystone Area recently opened a store and donation center at the Woodhaven Mall Shopping Center located at 1336 Bristol Pike in Bensalem.

The new location can be found near Crunch Fitness and is open Monday through Saturday, 9:00am to 8:00pm, and Sunday, noon to 6:00pm.

The 19,425-square-foot store includes clothing, footwear, outerwear, jewelry and accessories, antiques and collectibles, housewares, books, games and other items.

Donation drop-offs can be made at the backside of the store.

While most people are familiar with Goodwill as a place to donate and shop, many do not realize that Goodwill uses proceeds from the sale of donated items to support its mission: to help people with disabilities and other barriers to employment build skills, find jobs and grow careers.

Goodwill Keystone Area calls this their story behind the store.

It’s a story that includes job training, career development and education services to help people in our communities toward a path of independence.

In Bucks County, Goodwill gets referrals from local organizations to help those in need prepare and search for a job.

Goodwill’s employment services include assistance to develop a career plan, prepare a resume and practice with interviewing.

Employment specialists also assist with the job-search process by identifying opportunities that meet a client’s job skills and goals, and helping to apply for positions.

Additionally, once a client is successfully placed in a job, Goodwill provides on-the-job coaching and support, ongoing skills training and advice on advancement or promotion.

Each year, thousands of people in communities where Goodwill Keystone Area operates receive these life-changing services.

All made possible by generous donations from the community and customers who shop in our stores.
