Spotlight: Lisa McPeak, Piano Teacher

With decades of experience, acclaimed piano teacher Lisa McPeak is now accepting new students. Lessons take place in students’ homes (masks optional) or virtually via the simple Facetime app.

Using an IPhone, IPad or computer set next to your keyboard or piano. Lisa can help you find the perfect piano to fit your space and budget.

Her studio is open to new students age 5-95 and all levels! Lisa McPeak has been awarded the prestigious Steinway and Sons Top Piano Teacher Award yearly from 2016-2022!

In addition to learning in an engaging and inspiring way, students select songs from whatever musical genres inspire them: Classical, Disney, Popular songs, etc. Lessons are exciting, build amazing self- esteem and boost positive mindset! Laughter and smiles go hand-in-hand with each weekly lesson for children and adults.

Lisa offers wonderful optional students’ recitals. Each student plays on a brilliant Steinway and Sons grand piano.

Students receive a program, rose, pictures and beautiful memories that last a lifetime!

Qualifying 11th grade students can record a piano piece as a video submission to colleges/universities.

Lisa can write them a letter of recommendation (non-music majors).

Ms. McPeak studied 18 years with world-renowned Classical pianists Ruth Luty Campbell and Dr. David Sokoloff. She studied music and business on scholarship at Indiana University, IN. Also, Lisa studied Psychology at Franklin and Marshall College.

After this she performed in “Allegro Vivo” International Chamber Music Festival in Austria.

In the USA, Lisa worked for Hopewell Valley Regional School District in NJ accompanying choruses for four years. Lisa built her private piano studio to great acclaim.

Ms. McPeak performed at The Kimmel Center in 2014 in a Jacobs Music Fundraiser, performing on the famous Vladimir Horowitz Steinway and Sons concert grand piano. The event raised money to purchase and a Steinway grand piano for The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
