Fall Holiday Craft Fair set for Sunday, November 7th
The Ladies’ Association of Conwell-Egan (L.A.C.E.) is pleased to announce that the Annual Fall Holiday Craft Fair will be held on Sunday, November 7th, at the high school on Wistar Road in Fairless Hills. Doors open at 9:00am until 3:00pm.
Shoppers can purchase a variety of crafts, gifts, specialty foods and baked goods from more than 100 vendors.
“Our fall craft fair is extremely popular and sells out every year. Last year we had to cancel our fall and spring craft fairs because of Covid-19. We are happy that we can host the show again because it is one of our major fundraising events,” says Linda Benedetti, president of L.A.C.E. and event chairperson.
L.A.C.E. members sell tickets throughout the day for basket raffles and chances to win two $500 cash prizes. As an added bonus, Santa Claus makes a guest appearance and kids (and adults!) can get free photos with Santa for the Christmas holidays.
L.A.C.E. sponsors fundraising events and supports school activities throughout the year. Membership is open to all women that currently have a student(s) attending Conwell-Egan or alumni and supporters of Bishop Egan, Bishop Conwell or Conwell-Egan Catholic (CEC). Funds raised are donated to CEC to make improvements to the school’s facilities and campus.
Last year, L.A.C.E. donated over $7,000 to install a stone sign at the new soccer and lacrosse fields.
The group also donated the funds for new tables and chairs in the cafeteria; for custom-made rugs for the entranceways; six environmentally-friendly water fountains and the digital sign in front of the school on Wistar Road to inform the community about school activities.
