Triplets delivered to Artis Senior Living Memory Care

Artis received a special delivery last week – triplets! Two boys and a girl!

Carolyn Sterner, of Morrisville, played the role of the stork and delivered a sweet trio of realistic Reborn Baby dolls to Artis Senior Living Memory Care of Yardley.

Carolyn, who has been collecting Reborn Babies for several years, was approached by her friend Beverly Layman, Life Enrichment Assistant at Artis, anxious to find out where the dolls could be purchased.

Beverly was thrilled when Carolyn, looking to downsize her collection, offered to donate three of her little ones.

“Our residents are already enjoying fussing over these little sweethearts,” said Michelle Bowski, Director of Life Enrichment for Artis.

She shared that they can also be used therapeutically for residents who may find them comforting.

The residents took a vote and have named the “babies” Benjamin, Lucas and Ruby.

Michelle said they are amazed at how true to life they are and a few of the ladies are having fun dressing them up in their little outfits.

Carolyn’s “little” donations are making a big impact!

Artis specializes in Memory Care and is committed to providing an enriching environment, where the uniqueness of each individual is treasured.
