He lives in Feasterville with his parents, Alin and Marga Cruceru, and has a 11-year-old sister named Emma.

He has attended Neshaminy Schools since kindergarten, carries a 4.63 GPA and is ranked No. 2 in his class of 587.

Alex was introduced to the Rotary membership by Ms. Lynn Knotts, his Grade-Level Assistant Principal at Neshaminy High School.

His Senior courses include Honors Macroeconomics, AP Psychology, Physical Education, Honors Principles of Engineering, AE AP English 12, AP Calculus BC and AP Physics.

Alex was a member of Neshaminy Track and Field and Lacrosse in previous years.

He’s currently a member of Mathletes, Environmental Action Club and participates in Gym Night.

He is also a member of National Honor Society, was awarded the AP Award with Distinction, and his name consistently appears on the Distinguished Honor Roll.

On his own time, Alex serves as a tree-planting and community clean-up volunteer and has volunteered as a STEM table worker. He plays the piano, video games and enjoys working out and mud runs.

He holds a part-time job as a summer camp counselor.

Alex plans to major in Mechanical Engineering, more specifically Robotics; and would, ultimately, like to build robots for a company such as NASA.
