    Spotlight: New Hope-Solebury Community Association

    Announcing plans for 2021

    Like many organizations, the New Hope-Solebury Community Association spent 2020 planning and canceling events due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The New Hope-Solebury Community Association used their 2020 downtime wisely, adding a roster of events to further their commitment to supporting the students of the New Hope-Solebury School District as well as the non-profits and businesses that serve the region.

    These new events include a summer concert series, adult and youth tennis tournaments, and a baseball tournament. Returning events include Cars and Coffee Meetups, the Road Rally, and the annual favorite, The New Hope Automobile Show, which makes its return August 14th and 15th, 2021.

    “The funds from these events will be put to good use and stay within our communities,” said the Association’s president, Dave Hansel. “The Community Association has a long history of raising funds to provide facilities improvements and scholarships for the New Hope-Solebury School District, and that’s exactly what we plan to continue. We are also focusing on creating events that not only raise funds but bring spectators who will shop, dine, and stay overnight in the area, bringing much-needed support to our local businesses, which will, in turn, support the CA efforts.”

    The events planned for 2021 include:

    • The New Hope-Solebury Community Association Summer Concert Series: July 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st;
    • Cars and Coffee Meetups: Sunday, May 2nd, and August 8th;
    • Road Rally for The New Hope Automobile Show: Sunday, August 1st;
    • Youth Tennis Tournament: August 5th to 7th;
    • The New Hope Automobile Show: August 14th to 15th;
    • Adult Tennis Tournament: September 18th;
    • Youth Baseball Tournament: October 15th to 17th.

    The New Hope-Solebury Community Association also welcomes community members who are interested in joining their volunteer efforts. For more information, call 215-862-5665, email showinfo@newhopeautoshow.com, or visit www.newhopesolebury-ca.org or www.newhopeautoshow.com.
