Spectacular spring at the Northampton Library

April is Poetry Month and The Free Library of Northampton Township, located at 25 Upper Holland Road, Richboro is celebrating!  

Beginning April 1st, poetry stations will be set up around the library – follow the path for a poetry walk, pick up a pocket poem, and much more.

Plus, help us grow our “Poet-tree” by writing a poem yourself and adding it to our tree.Anyone who adds a poem receives a special charm.

Every Monday in April play “Name that Poet”!On these Mondays, the library will read a poem on Facebook and you have to guess the poet.

Go to the library’s website to see if your guess is correct.Downloadable materials related to the poet will be there too. 

Story Time Live on Facebook for Toddlers and Preschoolers, Thursdays at 10:30am.

Topics include: April 8th, ‘Bunny Tales’; April 15th, ‘Spring’; April 22nd, ‘It’s Easy Being Green’; and April 29th, ‘Birds of a Feather.’ Come join the fun!

Baby Live on Facebook Wednesdays at 10:00am April 21st through May 12th.  

This is a fun 15 minutes of simple songs, rhymes and stories, designed to provide parents with literacy tools for their little ones. 

Pick-Up Programs are first come first serve Mondays at 10:00am for various age groups.

Pick up the supplies you need at the library then go onto Facebook to view posted instructional videos.

Doodle Days, Preschool to 1st Grade, “Garden Plate Painting” on April 12th;

Mad Science, Grades 2-5, “Making Oobleck” on April 19th and “Crazy about Catapults” on April 26th;

Simple Science, Preschool to 1st Grade, “Coffee Filter Science” on May 3rd and “Puffy Paint Experiment” on May 10th.

Spring has sprung at the Friends Book Store, open during library hours.

With the public in the library once again, the Friends Book Store is a place to obtain top quality items at a low cost.

Proceeds benefit the Library Friends Group.
