The Association’s most notable accomplishment was the establishment of Doylestown Hospital in 1923.
What began as an eight-bed facility currently encompasses 232 beds in a state-of-the-art acute care facility.
The VIA has a long history of supporting those in need, including awarding educational scholarships for Central Bucks teens with high academic excellence, providing community improvement grants, supporting the needs of veterans, providing financial assistance for food, clothing, baby supplies, prescription medicines and utilities.
In support of the Opioid crisis, the VIA is helping families affected by the Opioid Pandemic by providing essential baby items to the parents of a newborn with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
Our largest fundraiser is the Bucks County Designer House & Gardens. We are very pleased to announce the 2021 House is Mearns Mill Manor.
