New Bird Walks hosted by Wild Birds Unlimited

Hello Friends! Happy New Year!

We’ve scheduled a couple of bird walks for January!

Sunday, January 17th, 8:00am – 10:00am (parking lot) at Covered Bridge Park, Pine Run Reservoir, 229 Keeley Ave, New Britain

We had a wonderful walk last time so we’re headed back as there have been some exciting visitors recently including a Northern Harrier (raptor) and a pair of Sandhill Cranes.  You never know what might show up at this reservoir, grassland, and creekside habitat.  Paved with slight portion of incline.

Wednesday, January 27th at Doylestown Central Park, 8:00am – 10:00am (meet at lot closest to the Castle)

We had such a great variety of birtds at the park last time, we thought we would revisit!  The paths are paved with some gentle incline.

Dress for weather.  Bring binoculars and a field guide (if you have one).  RSVP by responding to this email. Space is limited due to socially distancing so respond asap to secure a spot.   We will notify of weather cancellations.

Coming soon!  The Great Backyard Bird Count webinar!  Learn how to participate in this Citizen Science program (which occurs over President’s Day Weekend).
