CHECK OUT THE NEW BUCKSBLOGSPOT. HELP FOR BUCKS COUNTY BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY – BUCKSBLOGSPOT

Good things at the Northampton Library

Although the library continues to be in Phase 3 of their COVID-19 re-opening plan, with patron browsing up to 30 minutes and computer use up to one hour, the library is happy to announce additional hours for the public to visit the library.

The Free Library of Northampton Township, located at 25 Upper Holland Rd., Richboro, will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10:00am-7:00pm; Friday 1:00-5:00pm and Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm.

Seniors are urged to visit during the 10:00am to noon hours.

In order to accommodate patrons who still like or require Curbside Service, the library has expanded this service to all of the library’s open hours.

Please call ahead to make this process run smoothly and efficiently.

When patrons visit the library, they can pick up their own holds in the convenient center-shelving unit.

The Holds Shelf is arranged alphabetically by the first three letters of the patron’s last name and then numerically by the last three numbers of his/her library card number.

After picking up one’s holds or selecting items from the library’s excellent collection, there are two contact-free self-checkout kiosks.

It is fun to scan your library card or type in your number and PIN and then place your stack of items on the kiosk’s shelf.

Everything is checked out within seconds with a printed date due receipt, and all is accomplished without staff contact.

However, staff are happy to help if you require assistance or have questions.

Good things are indeed happening at the Free Library of Northampton Township – hope to see you there.
