Fit Momma Training

With the holidays rapidly approaching and being that it’s a very different year, it’s easy to put your own fitness routine on hold as you prepare for the much awaited traditions, celebrations (virtual or not) and, not to mention, delicious foods.

But what if there was a way to integrate a solid fitness routine that already incorporates your health goals for next year? Most of us tend to push the diet and workouts off in December thinking, “Oh well, I’ll get to it in January and have a fresh start.” When we do that, we already give ourselves permission to get off track before we’ve even started.

So, what can you do different this year? How can you set yourself up to stay on track before finding a reason to quit?

This has already been very different from any other year most of us have experienced, so why wait for things to change? BE the change, make your OWN change.

Everyone’s health and fitness story is unique, that’s why there is no one size fits all program that magically works. Find a personal trainer who listens, one you trust and helps you get to where you want to be.

I’d like to share a few of my all-time favorite tips and tricks to keep in mind this holiday season.

*Drink hot water with lemon every morning and night for a natural detox and cleanse (also helps to curb cravings).

*Take 1-2 active recovery days to stretch your muscles per week.

*Meal prep! Pay attention to macros and have snacks ready for cravings.

*Don’t overly restrict your diet; plan everything in moderation.

*Meditate. When we take a step back and become present with our world, we release more stress. If the body is constantly stressed, it stores more fat.

    *Be grateful. Every. Day.

Personal training is the best gift you can give yourself and you deserve to have the strongest life you can. Check out my virtual studio, various group training classes, recorded training sessions, online training plans and personal/buddy virtual training, plus my new apparel line.
