The City of Lambertville is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website located at lambertvillenj.org. This redesign makes it easier for Lambertvillians and others to access services, find information, and engage with local government. The website has been redesigned to improve functionality, security, accessibility, and mobile usage.
“I want visitors, residents, and businesses to have the best experience possible when engaging with the city online,” said Mayor Fahl. “We’re taking this opportunity to use the power of modern technology to build new digital services and provide transparent information in a timely fashion to the best of our abilities.”
Mayor Fahl ran on a platform of open communication and transparency when she was elected Mayor, taking office in January 2019.
Enhancements were made to allow for better navigation via mobile devices. Roughly 47% of all users now access the site from their cell phones and tablets. The website prominently features many of the city’s most popular online resources, such as the city calendar, alert sign up, budget information, telephone/email directory, and trash and recycling information. The website also features a home page dashboard for street sweeper and trash pickup. The new site features improvements to ADA compliance, language access, and general usability.
Prior to this iteration, the city’s last website redesign commenced in 2015 and launched in 2017. Lambertville residents are encouraged to log on to lambertvillenj.org and take a tour through the many changes and additions that will promote enhanced customer service with the city.
