Breezy Point Day School and Camp

Breezy Point Day School and Camp has been an integral part of the lives of many families since 1955. The positive impact Breezy Point has had on the community would not be possible without the dedicated employees who make Breezy Point (BP) such a special place.

Three very important BP employees can be found working inside the busy office.

Sandy McCloskey, Nina Gorsky, and Barbara Donahue work behind the scenes to make sure school and camp run smoothly.

Sandy earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University, as well as her Graduate Degree from Beaver College.

She began her Breezy Point journey as our Kindergarten teacher in 1980 and became the Day School Director in 2002.

She currently oversees all aspects of the school, including scheduling, staffing and enrollments, to name a few.

BP has played an important role in Sandy’s life, as both of her children are BP alumni.

“The best part of my day is visiting each classroom where I’m greeted by our wonderful BP kids.”

Nina began her Breezy Point career in 1980 after moving with her family from New York to Bucks County.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master’s Degree in Education from Brooklyn College. Nina’s responsibilities have evolved over the past 40 years.

She is currently the Administrative Director, overseeing camp and school enrollment, tuition, database operations and parent/staff communications.

Breezy Point has been an important part of her family as her daughter and grandchildren have attended Breezy Point Day School and Camp. “BP is my warm, fuzzy, home away from home.”

Barbara began working at Breezy Point in 1994 as the Office Assistant.

She is instrumental in assisting Sandy and Nina, while helping to keep the office organized and running smoothly.

Barbara is the smiling face you see when you enter the office and the voice you hear on the phone.

“Working at Breezy Point and being a part of the BP family has been one of the best experiences of my life.”

For over 65 years, our staff and families are the reason BP is such a special place. Sandy, Nina, and Barbara are just a few of the many people who contribute to making BP the best Day School and Summer Camp in Bucks County.
