Lima Fusion – New Hope, Ferry Market

An exotic Peruvian cuisine vender at Ferry Market

If you’ve never tried Peruvian Cuisine, you are sure to be delighted with the array of choices to try for the first time.

If you’re already a fan, you will be doubly delighted at the authentic palate.

All dishes are made from scratch with old world knowledge of this family run business: Lima Fusion at the center of town in the Ferry Market.

Lima Fusion has recently been taken over from within a long-standing family business by Adela Pereira since June 1st, 2020.

Born in Peru and raised in the US, Adela has always been surrounded with family and traditional foods.

“We provide the most traditional dishes,” says Adela.

“A really popular dish is our Ceviche with shrimp or fish,” she continued.

This dish is a zesty, citrus-based appetizer that has become a national phenomenon. It is simple yet complex, and nothing short of delicious.

Some of the main dishes include the world popular Empanada.

These are like pies, baked with a variety of different fillings.

“We offer the empanadas in regular and gluten-free versions,” said Adela.

The Lomo Saltado’s and Aji de Gallina are surprises for you to discover or enjoy a Beef Stew, Spicy Shrimp, or Butternut Squash soup. And of course Lima Fusion offers the Latin favorites including Tacos.

If you still haven’t tantalized your taste buds enough, then you must try the Alfajores with Dulce de Leche filling. This confectioner is a rich and tender desert that is a slightly sweet shortbread-like cookie filled with a creamy caramel.

Compliment your culinary experience with homemade Chicha drinks, made from purple corn, pineapple and other complimentary ingredients.

“We offer curbside pick-up,” said Adela, a single mother who has the support of her daughters and other family members, Carman Honores Ocampo and Yolanda Madrid on site.

Lima Fusion is located in the Ferry Market, 32 S. Main Street. Stop in and eat at socially distanced tables or call 267-571-8822 for curbside pick-up.
