This cozy breakfast and lunch spot opened in November 2019 after the owner, Dean Lekas, decided to open a second restaurant.
He has been in the business for 50 years and brings his background and reputation for good food to Holland.
Despite a bumpy start, having to close for three months due to the pandemic after only being open for three months, Café Madison won the Bucks Happening Brunch category.
They specialize in comfort food and all items on the menu are homemade.
The menu consists of three full pages of breakfast selections, including a section of low-carb options.
The lunch menu is similarly extensive with many takes on the classic grilled cheese sandwich.
You’ll also find steak sandwiches, fresh salads, hoagies, specialty sandwiches, burgers and more – all cooked to order.
The owner’s heritage shines through with a number of Greek favorites.
From the moment you walk in, you’ll know this is a hometown place where community is family.
The walls are adorned with framed photos of local diners who, according to the owner, “deserve that recognition more than celebrities.”
Café Madison is known for their omelets and specialty French toast and hotcakes selections.
They have several pumpkin spice options on the menu for those who embrace this popular seasonal choice.
Menu items range in price from $5-$10 and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Café Madison is located at 295 Buck Road in Holland.
They are open seven days a week from 7:00am to 2:15pm.
Breakfast is available all day and the lunch menu is available beginning at 11:00am.
