How New Hope Cosmetic & Family Dentistry and Dr. Dawn M. Rickert, DMD, MAGD are making your dental visit safe during COVID-19
Dr. Dawn M. Rickert, DMD, MAGD, established New Hope Cosmetic & Family Dentistry in 2001. The practice, located at 135 North Main Street in New Hope, offers exceptional full service dentistry in a comfortable environment with a friendly and caring team.
Prior to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, New Hope Cosmetic & Family Dentistry always went above and beyond the recommended universal precautions.
The office has always used disposable products, coverings and barriers, along with bactericidal/virucidal surface cleaners and constant monitoring of the sterilizers for effectiveness.
Since the pandemic, additional measures for your protection have been put into place. Dr. Rickert and her team want you to know that infection control, as always, remains top priority.
These enhanced measures include additional protective plexiglass barriers in our reception area, medical-grade (H13) HEPA filtration units in every room and hallway of the entire office building, extra vacuum systems for operative procedures, daily COVID-19 screenings of the dental team and patients, temperature checks, full PPE (personal protective equipment), hand sanitizing stations, and spacing between dental appointments.
In addition, patients must wear a mask and are asked to call or text the office when they arrive for their appointment.
Patients are allowed to enter the building when they are given clearance from the office’s administrative team since the reception area is currently not being used.
These extra safety measures are in place to make sure your visit to New Hope Cosmetic & Family Dentistry is safe and comfortable.
Many patients have praised Dr. Rickert and her team for all of the extra measures the practice has implemented to protect the public and themselves.
It is important to continue with your routine dental visits and to take care of recommended procedures before things get worse.
Neglecting dental care can lead to pain, infections, and potential tooth loss.
In addition, maintaining good dental health is also important for overall health especially those with diabetes, respiratory, and heart conditions.
