Many people and businesses have been affected by this lengthy pandemic in unexpected ways. Thanks to the resilience and the cooperation of our community, Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital has been able to continue seeing sick and healthy pets throughout these uncertain times.
One of many unanticipated results we have witnessed is the dramatic increase in pet adoptions as new and old clients add furry members to their family while they work from home.
Due to this demand of “pandemic puppies” and “COVID kittens,” as well as the effectiveness of our “curbside” service, we have normalized our appointment hours while continuing to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
Our updated office hours are Monday and Tuesday 8:00am to 8:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am to noon.
We will continue to be operating “curbside” for the foreseeable future, until we can be confident in the safety of permitting clients back into the hospital.
During the early stages of the pandemic, veterinary hospitals were very limited in which surgeries they were permitted to perform due to the needs of PPE in human hospitals.
More recently, veterinary hospitals have been permitted to continue routine surgeries such as spays, neuters, and dental cleanings.
We appreciate your patience as we catch up on those surgeries that were initially delayed and we will continue to admit urgent procedures as soon as possible.
As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at 215-752-1010.
Once again we would like to thank our clients for being so understanding and cooperative during these tough times.
We are very fortunate to have such a supportive community. Stay safe!
