CHECK OUT THE NEW BUCKSBLOGSPOT. HELP FOR BUCKS COUNTY BUSINESSES AND ECONOMIC RECOVERY – BUCKSBLOGSPOT

Dear Editor,

No matter party, a vote is important.

The Presidential 2016 election at one polling facility had a turnout of over 3400.

Social distancing and facial coverings are pandemic causes.

November is cold.

Voters cannot stand outside where turnouts are in large numbers.

Spread of COVID-19 and the safety at the polls must be considered for voters, poll workers, facility staff, and equipment.

Mail-in balloting has been portrayed as leading to fraud.

The mail is protected by federal law and the United States Postal Inspectors.

If a voter feels he/she will be safe and prefer voting in person so they can see their vote is in the ballot vote machine, this is a choice.

If a voter believes in the integrity of the mails, their vote is secure, and feels safer voting in this manner, this is a choice.

Whatever decision is made on how to cast a ballot, it is a democratic privilege and right which should and must be exercised.

Edward Tuckman,

Judge of Elections,

Yardley
