‘Go HOME with Mary’
With houses getting sold so quickly and with websites like Zillow, Realtor.com and social media sites, why would anyone need a real estate agent? I used to think the same thing – actually, I thought a house sold itself and the agent just filed paperwork and was a tour guide for homes.
I’m admitting I was very wrong. And what about the “reality shows” like Million Dollar Listing, “Love it or List it” and the shows where flipping and selling houses look like so much fun, everyone makes a huge profit and agents live a glamorous life, well…I’ll let you figure that out. You’re welcome to shadow me for a day.
I live in Holland, Northampton Township, with the youngest of my four kids, husband and two dogs. I’ve lived in Bucks County almost my entire life and Bucks, Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties are where I focus the majority of my business. Being involved in the community is important to me and I am a proud Board Member and volunteer with the Miracle League of Northampton Township.
My business background is in Customer Experience, User Research, Marketing & Communications and in addition to real estate, I have worked in financial services, tech start-ups, advertising and healthcare. One common theme behind everything I’ve done is that I love helping people and real estate helps me do just that.
In addition to being a substantial financial transaction, buying and selling real estate often involves a lot of emotion and each sale each involves understanding local use and occupancy regulations, contractual obligations and inherently have varying levels of complexities. I serve as the objective voice of reason and provide my expertise, taking the emotions out of the decisions.
I coach my clients every step of the way, even before they step up to the plate. Educating first-time buyers is vital to a successful journey to homeownership and explaining the process and setting expectations is key.
Whether selling, buying or investing, I have the expertise and power of a strong network of trustworthy professionals to develop and execute a customized strategic plan for each of my customers to meet and exceed their real estate goals. While real estate is focused on numbers, I’m a firm believer in the Golden Rule and promise to treat each customer, and the other stakeholders involved in the transaction, as I’d want to be treated.
