Big Oak Citgo

At Big Oak Citgo, we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt and fulfill the needs of our community.

In the face of the recent pandemic, our team has made significant changes to the way we do business to ensure the safety of our customers and employees.

We now offer a complimentary contactless pick-up and delivery service for those who are sheltering in place, sanitizing vehicles before returning them to our customers.

Our technicians and gas attendants wear protective gear such as masks and gloves while working with customers and their vehicles, and we are sanitizing our gas pump nozzle handles, keypads, and other surfaces between customers.

For those customers who must wait while their vehicles are serviced, we are limiting our waiting room occupancy to one wait appointment at a time, and we are sanitizing the seats, doorknobs, and counter surfaces between customers.

In light of our customers’ changes to their own daily work and family time, we are seeing an uptick in the amount of propane gas being used, and we continue to provide a seamless process for the sale of propane tanks and exchanges – simply pull up to the gas kiosk and our attendant will place the new tank in your vehicle for you.

As for changes to annual vehicle inspections, PennDOT has now extended the deadlines for annual Emissions & Safety inspections to June 30th.

We encourage customers, if able, to book their Inspection appointments before that deadline in anticipation of a backlog of Inspections throughout Pennsylvania.

With many of our customers spending more time at home with their children, we have seen an increase in the number of people who need to have their child’s carseat installed or checked.

Our very own Mike Cooper is a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and happily provides this service free of charge for anyone in the community by appointment.

Over the past 26 years, our family has tailored our service offerings to accommodate the needs of our friends and neighbors.

We are eager to continue this tradition, even as we adapt to the changes that the pandemic has forced upon our community.
