Wrightstown Farmers Market relocates to Middletown Grange for 2020 season

From now through Thanksgiving you will find the award-winning Wrightstown Farmers Market at the Middletown Grange, 576 Penns Park Road in Wrightstown, every Saturday from 9:00am to noon, rain or shine.

The Market management appreciates that the Middletown Grange has welcomed their more than 25 vendors to the fairgrounds this season.

The new location provides for generous, comfortable social distancing while shopping for the freshest and best tasting local foods.

The shopping area is more widely spread out than their regular location – so think of it as getting a little walk in on Saturday mornings!

A new Veggie Valet service is now available to help customers collect all of their delicious goodies.

Just look for the little blue wagons under the trees!

Cheryl Gilmore, market manager, reports that this year the market has made a few adjustments to adapt to the CDC COVID-19 safety guidelines.

Customers and vendors are required to wear masks and the Grange prohibits dogs on their grounds.

Pre-ordering is an option with most vendors in order to facilitate speedier shopping, but pre-orders are not necessary.

In fact, vendor tables are stocked high each Saturday with lots of product for onsite shopping.

Vendors are accepting cash, check or credit cards and are permitted to give cash change.

Details of the safety steps being taken can be reviewed at www.wrightstownfarmersmarket.org.

The market’s produce vendors have a continually expanding variety of veggies, all grown without harmful herbicides or pesticides.

From spring strawberries, asparagus, greens, peas, carrots, kale, microgreens and broccoli to summer zucchini, beans, sweet corn, beets, blueberries and so much more – you can find it at the market.

In addition to the freshest produce around, you will find eggs, meat and dairy products from animals grown on rich local farmlands without hormones or antibiotics.

You will also find freshly baked brick oven artisan breads, delicious sweets, time saving prepared foods, pickles, specialty mushrooms, handmade soaps, local honey, fresh hearth-baked pizza, doggie treats and much more.

Although events and activities are cancelled this season, the market is welcoming back instrumental music for your enjoyment while shopping. They invite everyone to come shop in the fresh air, stay healthy and fill your family’s pantry with the freshest food available – straight from our area’s local farmers and producers!

Note: Not all vendors are in attendance every week so please sign up for our e-newsletter or follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates.
