    Spotlight: Sew Much Fun Studios

Sew Much Fun Studios was created by Lisa Shull, of The Fabric Loft, who has been running a successful custom window treatment and design business for over 35 years.

She has taken her sewing skills to the next level by opening a sewing studio to teach others and spread the love for sewing.

Sew Much Fun Studios is a fun and exciting place for kids and adults to learn the basic skills such as hand sewing, working on a sewing machine, working with patterns and much more.

There are many creative projects to choose from on all skill levels. There is a huge selection of fabrics, felt, buttons, ribbon and other embellishments to personalize each project.

Both parents and the kids are amazed at the great things we create and students can’t wait to come back for more!

Adults are enjoying our classes too, as a refresher or as a new- found hobby.

We take special requests, such as learning to hem pants, sew curtains, or make pillows.

The studio is located at The Gathering, 2324 Second Street Pike in Newtown and offers morning, after school and Saturday classes.  Summer camp is offered Monday through Friday from June to August.

Each class is 1½ hours long and limited to 2 – 3 students.

Classes are grouped into four sessions and students are guaranteed to make a fabulous project during each class.

Visit www.SewMuchFunStudios.com for pictures of students and their projects and get more information on dates and times and how you can sign up and start having sew much fun!

Lisa hopes to see you soon.
