DVRPC announces Transportation Improvement Program and Long Range Plan for public review

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) is seeking your input and has opened a 30+ day Public Comment Period for the Draft DVRPC Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Pennsylvania (FY24)

This also serves as the public comment period for the Draft Connections 2045 Long-Range Plan (LRP) Amendment.

DVRPC will accept comments on both draft documents through June 29th, 2020 at 5:00pm local time.

Electronic copies of DVRPC’s Draft FY2021 TIP for PA are available at www.dvrpc.org/TIP/Draft

The TIP represents the region’s federally funded transportation improvement priorities and is required by federal law in order for the region to receive and spend federal transportation funds.

The TIP also includes non-federally funded projects that are regionally significant in order to provide a broad picture of the region’s transportation improvements.

The electronic version of the Draft Connections 2045 LRP Amendment is available at www.dvrpc.org/LongRangePlan.

DVRPC periodically amends the LRP to incorporate changes to regionally significant projects, reflect changes to the financial plan, and to maintain fiscal constraint.

If requested, the Draft TIP and Draft LRP Amendment can be translated into an alternative format or language.

Contact the DVRPC Office of Communications and Engagement at 215-238-2929 or public_affairs@dvrpc.org.

If you need assistance in providing a written comment, contact the DVRPC Office of Communications and Engagement at 215-592-1800 or public_affairs@dvrpc.org.

Comments for this document must be received no later than 5:00pm (local time) on June 29th, 2020.

Comments received via mail must be postmarked by June 29th, 2020.

Responses will not be provided unless comments are submitted in writing during the public comment period.
