We know that every company, family, and person has been heavily impacted by COVID-19 and we hope that you are continuing to stay safe and healthy.
The entire Flowers Mill Veterinary team has been working hard to stay open and continue providing quality care for our local community and their pets.
During the length of this pandemic, Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital has not permitted clients into the building, operating “curbside” for appointments.
Conducting appointments curbside has enabled Flowers Mill to provide a safe environment for both clients and staff, allowing patients to continue being seen in-person and avoiding the pitfalls of telemedicine. Several precautionary measures have been implemented: pre-shift health screens for all staff, shortened appointment hours to limit time in public, mandatory face masks for all staff, and support to high-risk staff members.
As activity restrictions are slowly lifted, Flowers Mill will begin to see routine visits again, including annual check ups and nail trims (yes!). Clients will be permitted into the building, but only one client per family during the exam, and a mask must be worn at all times.
Exam rooms will be sanitized between each appointment and clients will have easy access to alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers.
Entry into the building will still be restricted for the foreseeable future.
We would like to thank our clients for being so understanding and cooperative during these tough times.
We are very fortunate to have such a supportive community. Stay safe!
