Having survived over 35 seasons in the garden industry, I have come to learn, that I am no longer surprised by anything that comes down the pike.
Getting through this latest tragedy on the American public with the new flu will take some adaptation, patience, tolerance, and faith in our community, and faith in God.
The COVID-19 flu has touched everyone, some tragically, some with minor inconvenience, but most of our lives have been changed, hopefully only for the moment.
At Castle’s, we have had to change our way of doing business.
We have been able to do curbside pick-up on phone in orders, deliver orders for flowers, and have encouraged phone orders for bulk mulch, stone and topsoil.
In addition, we have reached out to help others in need.
As a garden center owner, we have endured the cold, wind, rain, snow, and everything in between.
We have endured the expansion of the box stores, and seen the first generation of box stores fall by the wayside.
Enduring the virus of 2020 will only make us stronger.
Join us in finding the good in rough times, becoming stronger though helping others in need, and always look for the good in others.
