Spotlight: Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce

Recently, a member of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce stood up at a lunch event and shared that, while online networking is great, shaking someone’s hand and getting to really know someone builds loyalty in a way that online marketing just can’t do.

Business, after all, is STILL all about relationships.

And, the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce provides a super way to get to know fellow business leaders in a non-threatening, and collaborative environment.

From monthly lunches serving up great food at wonderful area restaurants providing a warm and friendly networking environment to evening Business Card Exchanges providing a platform for professional relationship building, the Chamber hosts daily and weekly programs and events designed to foster business connections.

While these networking events provide numerous opportunities to get your business in front of other businesses, nothing beats the relationships that are forged during Chamber committees, open only to members.

The committees offer a wealth of opportunities to enhance the community.

Programs like Bucks Fever, an arts and cultural program established by the Chamber four decades ago, provide a direct link between artists, culture and business.

Other committees include entrepreneurial, health and wellness and many more themes that provide forums to build relationships with leaders and fellow professionals.

The Chamber also has a healthy online presence which members can utilize to enhance their own digital footprint.

Use the Chamber’s Instagram, Facebook page, LinkedIn Groups, Twitter sites and upload media to the Chamber’s website.

Have your business featured in the Chamber’s business magazine or arts and cultural brochure.

Make sure your pamphlets, brochures and business cards are a presence at Chamber business events and headquarters.

Finally, grow your skills with the Chamber’s Executive Leadership Program, Dale Carnegie Programs, Free Business Growth Sessions – either one on one, panel discussions, roundtable or seminars.

Make sure your voice is heard, not only by corporate leaders, but by leaders in government.

Join the Chamber’s Government and Veterans Affairs Committee, or simply attend a program where you can speak one-on-one with national, state and local legislators.

The list of opportunities to grow your skills, your connections, your expertise and your relationships through the Chamber is endless.
