Lower Bucks Hospital celebrates 65th Anniversary

On November 2nd, 1954, Lower Bucks Hospital (Bristol, PA) admitted its very first patient, and has since grown to 175 beds.

More than 25,000 patients are treated annually at Lower Bucks Hospital, which has remained true to the pledge made 65 years ago to serve the local community with excellent medical care.

This November, Lower Bucks Hospital celebrated its 65th Anniversary with a special event that honored the hospital’s longstanding history and the dedication of its staff, some of whom have worked at Lower Bucks Hospital for more than 30 years. “The entire LBH team was excited to be part of the hospital’s legacy in the area. Many employees who have been with the hospital for over 30 years show that it’s a great place to work,” said Michelle Aliprantis, Interim Regional Director of Business Development, Marketing and Communications.

The event incorporated photos from the hospital’s history and highlighted the evolution of the hospital.

“While Lower Bucks Hospital has grown and evolved to meet the needs of our community, our legacy continues and our commitment to serving this community is unwavering,” said Michael Motte, Lower Bucks Chief Executive Officer.
