Inner Circle Physical Therapy and Myofascial Release Centers open Women’s Health Center offering help and hope to women suffering from painful pelvic conditions

INNER CIRCLE PROFILE

Timothy Alloway, M.S.P.T., founder of Inner Circle Physical Therapy and Myofascial Release Centers, is excited to announce the opening of his fifth location, the Inner Circle Women’s Health Center.

Located in Newtown/Langhorne, this facility is dedicated exclusively to the advanced evaluation and treatment of female pelvic health issues including incontinence, pre- and post-natal pain and dysfunction, pelvic floor weakness, uterine prolapse, hysterectomy adhesions, nerve injuries, painful intercourse, endometriosis, irritable bowel syndrome and pelvic pain. Treatment consists of a combination of manual therapy, exercise, biofeedback and patient education.

With more experience in manual therapy, adhesions and women’s health than any other Bucks County physical therapy practice, Inner Circle therapists have discovered that the most effective treatments are not modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation or heat therapy, but rather the power of touch and a hands-on approach to healing. Inner Circle also offers private treatment rooms for its clients.

Jennifer Keeny, M.S.P.T. heads up the new Women’s Health Center. An advanced Myofascial Release therapist, she studied under Alloway and Myofascial Release expert John Barnes. Myofascial Release is a hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into connective tissue restrictions, eliminating pain and restoring motion. Bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue of the pelvis can contribute to pelvic pain syndromes as well as muscle spasms and weakness. Jennifer finds patients after treatment are more aware of their bodies and surprised to know that physical therapy helps improve what may be embarrassing conditions.
