Centennial Singers vocalizing for the holidays

The Bux-Mont Centennial Singers invite you to their 39th Annual Holiday Concert, under the direction of Nathaniel Fletcher, with accompaniment by pianist Charles deMets, on Saturday, December 14th, at 8:00pm at Log College Middle School, 730 Norristown Road, Warminster. 

Selections will include Christmas and Hanukkah songs in traditional and classical styles, as well as beloved seasonal favorites to appeal to the entire family.  

Of course, no Centennial concert would be complete without a visit from Santa, a sing-along, and a bountiful cookie buffet at intermission.

Centennial Singers in full-throated concert June 8th

The Bux-Mont Centennial Singers will present their 38th Annual Spring Concert, “Music, Music, Music!” on Saturday, June 8th at 8:00pm, at Log College Middle School, 730 Norristown Road (north of Street Road), Warminster.

The singers dedicate this concert to the memory of the group’s remarkable creator and first director, Lonny Strang. Under the current direction of Lisa VanHeldorf, accompanied by piano virtuoso Charles DeMets, the program will include spirited offerings from Hayden to Hammerstein and beyond.

Soloists Cindy Swartz, Jesse Hasty and Ed Schneiderman will anchor Hayden’s famous chorus from The Creation, “The Heavens Are Telling.” The program includes the patriotic standards, “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” and “America, the Beautiful.”

Folk and spiritual numbers are represented by “Oh Lord, What a Morning,” Simple Gifts,” and “Danny Boy.”
