Scouts help out at Third Annual Lemon Ride Bicycle Tour

Scouts from Boy Scout Troop 71 volunteered for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) during the Third Annual Lemon Ride Bicycle Tour in Doylestown on July 20th by marking the bicycle routes and running a rest stop.

After a week-long camp working to earn merit badges at the Rodney Scout Reservation on the Northern Bank of Chesapeake Bay, nearly half of the Scouts in Troop 71 volunteered to help over 320 cyclists enjoy the rolling Bucks County countryside as they raised money to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Lemon Ride Bicycle Tour returns

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all kids with cancer, has announced the return of the Lemon Ride Bicycle Tour to Doylestown on Sunday, July 20th, at 7:00am. The event, which starts and ends at Central Bucks – West High School, invites cyclists of all calibers to contribute to the battle against childhood cancer with courses ranging from a four-mile Family Fun Ride to a 63-mile ride (a metric century). The family friendly event will also include children’s activities at the start/finish.
