U11 Boys Travel Soccer Team looking to add talent

Vipers

The Langhorne U-11 Vipers are looking for additional players as they make plans for the future.

The Vipers team was started in 2009 and they are hoping to add to their core group as they plan for 11 vs. 11 play. Over the years the Vipers have come in first place in their Travel League and have won various tournaments. Most recently the Viper took second place in the Schillinger Thanksgiving Tournament after a tough fight and came in first place in last year’s Beach Blast Tournament.

With recent coaching changes the team now has four coaches that have played soccer their entire lives and are hoping to transfer their knowledge to the team. The coaches still continue to play soccer as adults in adult leagues. In fact, Head Coach Joey Festa is the Adult Soccer League Director for Langhorne Athletic Association.

The coaches are planning to use their unique situation and combined skills to their advantage to mentor the boys and to help them achieve their best soccer playing abilities.

Langhorne United tryouts are scheduled for April 15th and April 22nd.  The time of the U-11 Vipers tryouts can be found at Langhornesoccer.org or by contacting Joey Festa at joeyfesta@gmail.com.
