Coconut Rum Runner

Atlantic Shore’s Motel on the corner of Duvell ‘street in Key West was one of its kind. An alternative lifestyle resort best known for being “clothing optional” is now nothing more than an apartment complex. This recipe is an adaption of the ever-popular drink that was originally served in a coconut shell.

 

Ingredients:

1 part Coconut Rum

1 part Spiced Rum

1 part Dark Rum

1 shot Blackberry Brandy

2 parts Pineapple Juice (I always use fresh)

2 parts Cranberry Juice

Shake with Ice and Serve.  Garnish with sliced pineapple.

 

Having a party? This recipe would also be great as punch. Use half a bottle of each liquor and substitute pineapple juice with pineapple sorbet. ENJOY!
