Delaware Canal Clean-Up Day is April 11th

April 11th is Canal Clean-Up Day at the Delaware Canal State Park. The Friends of the Delaware Canal sponsor this annual event to encourage volunteers to clear trash, debris, and brush from the historic waterway and towpath that runs from Easton to Bristol.

Canal Clean-Up Day activities will begin at 9:00am and end at noon. Volunteers will be working all along the Canal’s 58.9-mile length, but help is especially needed in the areas listed below. Everyone who wants to participate should choose a location, and then contact the Area Coordinator for that section. The Coordinator will provide all the details about the day’s activities.
