Visiting the Bucks County Children’s Museum, you are guaranteed a unique family experience, you’ll enjoy hands-on, interactive exhibits for children ages 1-7, ranging from a colorful, simulated hot-air balloon ride, to a replica of a vintage train dining car where children can hop aboard and play cook in the train’s galley kitchen, serving their creations to other train guests.
Children can further explore their creativity in the museum’s gazebo where dress-up is encouraged with provided costumes. Climb in the archeological Big Dig exhibit and unearth hidden treasures indigenous of Bucks County.
“Stomp out the trash” in a virtual river and build with recycled materials in the newly installed Bucks County Country exhibit.
For the fast-paced imaginer, children can build their own K’Nex racecar and race down a 12-foot long racetrack.
Other exhibits include a science-based tree house and a turn-of-the-century general store and post office.
The Museum also has an official party-room available for reservations, catering to group celebrations for all ages to enjoy.
With the mission of offering uniquely educational, fun and interactive experiences for young learners and their families, this 5,000 square foot facility opened to the public November 1st, 2011 at 500 Union Square, New Hope. Admission is $7 per child.
